*GREATER WORKS*

*John.14.12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.*

Jesus Christ when He walked through the dust of this earth, lived a life and did a ministry. This ministry is termed His works. He then commissioned us to do Greater Works than He did in His ministry.

We all have a life too. It should be lived to the best of the allowance of God at our own age and dispensation.  Jesus lived His own life based on the Jewish culture but did His ministry according as it pleases His Father. He then recommended  the magnitude at which our ministries should operate: It must be greater than His. But it is worthy of note that it must be to the same end, which is to SAVE ALL MEN FROM THEIR SINS AND DISCIPLE THEM.

However, the way we will achieve all these differs. After ressurection He instructed us to go into all the world. We are at different places, at different times and phases in the world, hence, the nature of these works shall be undoubtedly different.

👉 Some will be healing the sick just by holding up the virtue of integrity in an office by signing right documents as they ought to. Because there is a document that God needs one His child to sign so that somebody's brother somewhere, will get a contract so that He can treat his mother with the profit from the contract. Jesus never did that!

👉 Some will be holding a mega crusade of millions of attendants with hundreds of thousands been saved, healed and directed for proper Discipleship like Reinhard Bonke during his time. Jesus never did His like this.

👉 Some will use their professional platforms for the furtherance of the gospel. A doctor treating the body of a patient with scriptures and medicine at the same time ministering Jesus unto such for Salvation and inviting such for Discipleship. What a great one!

👉 Some of us who are writers, will write books on a higher magnitude. Jesus never wrote a book. He only wrote on the ground. But even though he wrote on the ground, an adulterous woman was saved. The goal of writing was set right there: to save souls. So if you have ever published a book and it has won two or three souls, you have done a greater work than Jesus in that area. He saved one soul with His writing on the ground.

👉 Some of us are going to marry and give birth to wonderful and God fearing children and we are going to live for many years. Jesus never did that. We have done greater works in this area because Jesus never did that.

👉 Some of us are going to compose life giving songs that will compel many to be saved, deliver them from chains, convict men of their sins, restoring men to having the right hunger for God. Jesus never that. He only sang hymns. We will sing Hymns and compose Hymns. That's a greater work in the Music ministry.

The latter part of our anchor scripture says, ... 'because I go to my Father'

This means Jesus would have done greater works than He did, in number, space and time but He was to live this earth so He could work within us as The HolyGhost. Because if He never left, the Holy Spirit won't come and we will remain limited.

Now, we have the HolyGhost, we are no more limited. All we need to do is to engage the HolyGhost, build up our faith, believe all of His words and walk with the one behind all Greater Works, the HolyGhost and repeat all we have been sent to do at different places we find ourselves at different times. After many years of consistent faithfulness, our works would have been greater than Jesus's.

How joyful will Jesus be in Heaven to see us do this.
Say after me: I will do greater works. I will please the Most High! Jesus will rejoice over my life.
