WISE, BLUNT & CLEAR DANIEL


Dan.4.19 - Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.


What a correct man

What a wise ruler

What a blunt speaker

What a clear leader


Daniel even though the interpretation didn't favour the King

He went ahead to tell him the blunt clear interpretation of his dreams

Not many of us can do that

How can you tell the king that his throne would be taken away from him


It takes a correct man to say that wisely

Are you correct

Your words and actions are testifiers though

Can you tell the truth to the face of your boss

even when your observations are against him/her


"Imagine Nebuchadnezzar bowed down to worship him despite the fact that the interpretation was not favourable"


No wonder God promoted Daniel speedily

God must have tested him over and over before bringing him to the limelight in Babylon

The same with us, God is training us now

We are only to fear the one who has the power to kill both the soul and the body and not ordinary men


Let's not be afraid to tell the truth even when it's not favourable.

Daniel wisely, bluntly and clearly stated the judgemental counsel of God to Nebuchadnezzar
