 A NEW KING IN BABYLON, TRANSGRESSED.

📖 Dan.5.1 Belshazzar the king [descendant of Nebuchadnezzar] made a great feast for a thousand of his lords, and he drank his wine in the presence of the thousand. (AMP)

A new king is here, Belshazzar is his name, a descendant of NEBUCHADNEZZAR. He decided to enjoy life with his Nobles. It was a great wine and celebration was in the air. Every where in Babylon is booming for pleasure and celebration.

The different colours of lights and melody of sounds testifies that a new king is here and a new era is here. Their tables were soaked with all kinds of delicacies. Now as a matter of excitement, Belshazzar decided to give himself pleasure, then he took steps that made him to move the finger of God against him.

Let's check this verse out 👇

📖 Dan.5.2 - Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. KJV

📜 Any action that is taken out of an excitement that is void of appropriate Knowledge, will cause one to transgress. 

Belshazzar's commandment to bring out the golden and silver vessels which have been sanctified only for usage in the temple. I believe he doesn't have the right knowledge about this things vessels. If he knew the importance of the vessels and the consequence of his action, he would have avoided it with all of his intelligence.

Or have you seen a king who will desire to quit his place honour sooner than expected? No king will desire that. But ignorance can make one to lose his place before the time expected. 

When we talk about knowledge is of three folds.

The knowledge that informs values.

The knowledge that informs process

The knowledge that informs consequences.

If we know the value of an action, understand it's process or price involved and the consequences of our defaulting, we will approach every situation with the uttermost love and care.

Ignorance of these facets of knowledge may cause one to lose his destined place before the time expected as in the case of Belshazzar in Babylon.

What this will do, is that it will make one to commit a kind of TRANSGRESSION that will move the hand of God against the individual most especially if it's against God and his kingdom.

Let's pray this Bible prayer:

Eph.1.17 - That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Say after me: We receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, in Jesus name,amen!
