GOD AT HEART, GOLD AT HAND

*Dan.5.4 - They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.*

In our worship to God, gold and other treasures have their acceptable places. Gold is meant for our HANDS while the only one God's position is our HEARTS. Belshazzar's case was a different one. His heart was inclined to wine. This made him to begin to praise the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and of stone.

Judas Iscariot who chose gold in place of Christ lost his place in the kingdom. Lot who chose Sodom and Gomorrah paid with his wife.
David who was a man after God's heart qualified by God's mercy to bring forth the Messiah from his lineage. John the beloved who was always resting on the chest of Christ, because of his love for Christ was the only one who wasn't killed. Belshazzar misplaced gold in his heart, God also displaces him and his kingdom.

Where is your heart? Where is God in your life? Where have you placed the gold in your life? Are they in your heart or in your hand? GOD AT HEART, GOLD AT HAND!

Let's pray:
Father, we receive wisdom to place you where you belong on top as King in our lives and to place gold where it belongs in our hands for the sake of the Kingdom's expansion upon the face of the earth. Afterwards, prepare us to reign with you!
